    It is Saturday night and I’m in the night club with my cousin. We are drinking, having fun, and having the finest women around us.  Every weekend we would go to the best night clubs in New York City, week days we would both go workout in the gym. It would be the same routine week after week Jose would bring home the prettiest girl from the club. My cousin had good choice of words to say to a woman and most of the time he would bring her home.

                On a Friday night I would call Jose to ask if we going out clubbing. It was the usual respond “Hell Yeah” however it was different. I thought to myself that he might be sick, I asked him but he didn’t explain that he has plans with someone else. Everything has change I would call his house and his mother would answer saying to me he is not here. It been about three weeks that I don’t hear from Jose and not going to the clubs as usual Saturday nights.

                I was on my way to work one day and I received a text from Jose. We met up in my house and my mother left us alone to talk.It seem odd to me that my mother left us alone, so I knew it was something serious. I was happy to see him, asking where have you been. He had a worried face and he took a deep breath. He explain to me that we are family, and confessed to me his deep secret, that he is a homosexual. Before was hard for me to accept truth because I would never imagine that about my cousin being gay.

                Crying in tears my cousin begged for my forgiveness. As time passed I learn how to accept the truth about my cousin. Our family and friends accept the truth but they act different around him and I need to choice my words carefully on how I talk around him so I wont offend him. My family is shocked to know the truth about Jose not just my self. We don't hangout or barely see  each other. My guess is that he has change not only his interest in girls.

The Allegory of The Cave Summery

         The passage "The Allegory of The Cave of The Republic book VII,"narrates a discussion between Socrates and his fellow scholar Glaucon. In the passage the idea of righteousness is the point of focus, when Socrates discusses the justice among prisoner whom are ignorant due to their limited amount of knowledge from the world.He focus the idea of ignorance by giving his partner a set of examples which gives him a chance to show his level of understanding. A prisoner escape from the cave and saw that the real world. However the prisoner refuse to accept the truth about the real world. For being in the cave the prisoner was not use to the outside light and began looking at things as allusions. This passage is about how someone cannot accept the truth even though they are wrong of what they know.   

Hype Revise

In this passages “Hype,” by Kalle Lasn there are several ways advertisements is polluting people’s mind. First of all, T.V commercials are seen about three thousand marketing messages per day. For instances, 12 billion ads, 3 million radio commercials, and 200,000 TV commercials are distribute in North America. Today ads are not found in their usual place like for example buses, billboard, and stadiums. Ads are found everywhere your eyes look.

Second, theirs a company named “Video Carte.” Video Carte installs monitors on supermarket carts so that everyone could see the ads. For example, everywhere I go there always ads. Riding the subways on my way to school there ads about lawyers, cell phones, and new clothing for fashion. I agreed with the author ads are polluting our minds. However we need ads because without it we won't know what is  new or what going on our world.  

Today ads is more efficient, with the expand of technology and the help of the Internet theirs no escape from ads. When login in your Facebook accounts theirs always  ads on the right corner on your screen. For example click the “Like Button” if you like Coca Cola. After you click on the button facebook will refer you as you like Coca Cola with other people. Also it will add the likes on your profile so that other people would know what is your interested on your favorite food, T.V show and music. 

On the bright side commercials today has helped the public by educating them. For example television commercials about cigarettes on how its causes cancer. Today there ads about cigarettes explaining to the public the risk on getting cancer. Cigarettes commercials shows people that are already ill from cigarettes as an example. Also getting help by agency that are willing to help people that have problems by quitting smoking. With an educated ads about cigarettes it can make a difference in our world.  

Today there ads everywhere and some people have adapted and won’t notice there minds being polluted. On the contrast others have notice. For example watching their favorite videos on YouTube. On my personal experience it is frustrating to watch 25 seconds of a commercial before watching my favorite video on You Tube. Before You Tube’s videos were ads free however because of the expand of the internet ads have taken advantage on how to get to people’s minds.
